Install Zoom on your device
I am using a smartphone or tablet
- Open the App Store for your device
- Search for Zoom
- Click Install
- Click Open
I am using a laptop or desktop computer
- Right click on the following link and choose ‘open in a new tab’ —
- Click the Download button under the heading ‘Zoom Workplace desktop app’ (or similar).
- Save the file in a location you will find easy to access, such as your Downloads folder.
- Double-click the downloaded file and follow the prompts to install Zoom on your device.
Making a Zoom account
- While you are on the Zoom website, make a Zoom account for yourself.
- Use your main e-mail address and a password that will be easy to remember but difficult to guess.
- Creating an account means you can customise your account with a display picture and background picture, and Zoom will remember the audio and visual settings that work for you.
